Last Sunday Katya Gamine was launched at the first Junior Upmarket. What a great day and a very successful beginning for the label. "Gamine" is french for playful and mischievous little girl. I wanted to create pieces that are easy to run around in, are beautiful and have a daintiness to them without being precious.
Gamine combines soft colour pallettes, dainty prints, quality fabric and angelic laces. Vintage influenced sun dresses, floaty tops and cute shorts are perfect for daydreaming, pulling up flowers, chasing the cat and building sandcastles. For little girls 1 to 4.
